Beginning Stats

Hello.

My name is Britney.

I have struggled with weight my entire life. As an adult, I've been anywhere from 235 to my recent high of 315. I recently lost about 55 lbs in about nine months, going from 315 to 260. Unfortunately, I've gained back almost 20 of those. I hope to turn the scale back the other direction!

I've recently discovered the benefits of blogging, and thought I'd add my weight struggle to the list of subjects I blog about. I hope publicly posting this journey will motivate me to do the things I know I need to do... If I'm successful, maybe it will motivate someone else.

I'm sick of battling this!

So, here I go... publicly posting the specifics of my weight/measurements/diet/exercise/etc. Maybe, just maybe, it will embarrass me into actually following through :)

My plan is to post my weight (complete with scale picture so you know I'm not fibbing) weekly and my measurements monthly. I plan to take and post pictures in the next few days and once a month after that, as well.
